Expanding our reach over in 113 locations across Vietnam by 2023

The RYNAN Insect Monitoring System provides real-time data on pest populations throughout the agriculture regions across Vietnam.

By the end of 2023, IMS will be implemented in over 47 locations across Japan

The RYNAN Insect Monitoring System can be installed in new locations for data collection within various parts of the world.

Key Features

RYNAN Agriculture - Insect Monitoring System
  • Equipped with RGB and UV LED’s lamps to lure and trap insects for automatic monitoring and identifying of insect types.

  • Using a camera to capture images, the machine learning algorithm enables the system to recognize over more than 100 different types of pests and insects. Due to the large amount of data collected over time, the accuracy of the machine learning algorithms has increased to over 95% most recently.

  • Real-time insect data is sent to the RYNAN server and can be viewed on the SaaS platform and mobile app without any delay, allowing users to continuously monitor pest and insect growth.

  • With the collected data on pests and natural enemies, the system can provide early warnings to the farmer and advise the correct pesticide usage to the farmer. The AI can also make reliable predictions and mapping of pests and diseases within large areas.

  • Data is transmitted via a 4G/5G connection. Relevant stakeholders can access the system easily via SaaS or the Mekong mobile app to see the data of pests and insects and control the operation of each individual system or a large network of systems in real time remotely.

Our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • 30 days

  • Real-time object detection and density calculation based on the insect's surface area.

  • The IMS has the ability to identify the type of insects and also where these insects are located within a given environment.

When combined, users are able to ulitize this information and allows them to identify and assess the extent of an infestation.

  • The use of IMS offers several benefits, including the ability to manage and reduce the unnecessary use of chemical inputs.

This is achieved through the identification and prediction of pest and insect populations using visualized statistics, allowing for more targeted and efficient pest control measures.

  • We capture images every hour, amounting to a total of 24 images each day.

The machine can effectively monitor insect density, especially during periods of heightened infestation, particularly at night. The IMS typically registers a surge in insect density after 6 p.m, prompting it to acquire additional images.

  • All languages are supported.

  • Yes, it is feasible, but its suitability depends on the size of the farm.

  • For rice fields, a single system is sufficient for ten hectares.

In the case of fruit trees, one system is needed for every five hectares. This is because the height of fruit trees prevents insects from reaching the machine.

MEKONG App

MEKONG App is an open-source agriculture platform that provides real-time environmental collected data from RYNAN Technologies IoT devices installed across Vietnam and other locations.
