The Vietnam Digital Agriculture Platform Ecosystem (VDAPES) is the first national digital agriculture platform in the country, developed by RYNAN® Technologies. Through the combination of cutting-edge technologies like IoT, AI, Edge Computing, Remote Sensing, and Big Data, the platform provides a comprehensive and centralised Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for users to monitor and manage different key agricultural parameters.

Being the 2nd largest region in Vietnam for rice farming, Dong Thap province is one of the most suitable areas for the application of the VDAPES. The insights gathered from the platform empower users to come up with farming operations that are more data-oriented, targeted, and effective.

Numerous government staff, enterprises, and farmers were involved in this project, with many providing positive feedback for its implementation. Moving forward, RYNAN® Technologies aims to widen the VDAPES implementation to the other provinces and cities in Vietnam.

VDAPES empowers Vietnam’s agricultural sector to adapt to climate change, increase productivity, ensure food security, and accelerate digital transformation in line with the National Digital Transformation Program 2020–2030.
